Description Enviro Prime BB is an industrial bitumen based primer, formulated to adhere to damp surfaces and used for priming suitable substrates for the application of Enviro Imper torch on membrane.

Uses Enviro Prime BB is recommended as the priming coat for Enviro Imper torch on membrane. Enviro Prime BB can also be used to protect metal surfaces against oxidization from water, sunlight, and weather exposure.
Physical Properties • Colour Black
• Coverage Rate - Approximately 10m² per litre
• Drying Time Touch Dry – 2 to 4 hours depending on ambient temperature
•Full Cure – 24 hours depending on ambient temperature
Application Directions
Surface Preparation
The surface must be clean, dry and free from all loose particles including dust,laitance, grease, coatings, curing compounds and any other foreign matter. New hot dip galvanizing must be weathered for a minimum of 6 months before the application of Enviro Prime BB.
Application
Apply one coat of Enviro Prime BB by brush, spray or roller. Allow to cure for 24 hours before the application of Enviro Imper torch on membrane.
Note: Enviro Imper should be applied over Enviro Prime BB within 48 hours of curing.
Packaging 20ltr and 205ltr drums
Cleaning Enviro Prime BB should be removed from all tools and equipment, prior to hardening with Enviro Thinners No.1. Observe all OH&S and MSDS information pertaining to safe usage and handling of solvents. Cured material can only be removed mechanically.
Storage In sealed containers at 5° – 30°C. Do not expose to moisture or direct sunlight.
Shelf Life Enviro Prime BB can be stored in its original sealed containers for 12 months in controlled environments.
Safety Advice When using Enviro Prime BB always provide adequate ventilation and wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) during use. Avoid contact with skin. Avoid breathing vapours. Wear protective eyewear. If inhalation effects occur, remove to fresh air. If discomfort persists or any breathing difficulty occurs or if swallowed, seek medical attention. Refer to MSDS.
