Application Directions

Substrate Preparation

The surface must be clean, and free from loose particles, including dust, laitance, grease, coatings, curing compounds, or any other foreign matter. The substrate must be prepared by way of degreasing, grinding or captive shot blasting to provide a surface profile. Apply suitable and approved joint caulking material such as Enviro Seal PUR polyurethane (allow to cure) prior to application of Enviro HP 1200, to all joints and connecting building parts.

Priming

Apply 1 coat of Enviro Epoxy B-LV sand seeded or Enviro Prime P2 to prepared substrate at a rate of 5-8m² per litre, by brush or roller. Allow primer to fully cure before proceeding with application of Enviro HP 1200.

Mixing

Mixing by way of 1:1 mix ratio (by volume) in heated plural component spray equipment. Both low and high pressure spray equipment can be used. Substrates Enviro HP 1200 is suitable over the following substrates: • Concrete (cured for min. 28 days) • Plywood (marine grade only) • Renders (cured for min. 7 days) • Steel NOTE: Do not apply membrane to any concrete that has received curing compounds.

Estimationg Data (Theorectical)

The Consumption of Enviro HP 1200 will depend upon substrate condition and type. As a guide: One 120 kg kit of Enviro HP 1200 will cover approximately 60 – 80m² based on achieving a waterproof coating of a minimum 1.5mm Dry Film Thickness (DFT).

Cure and Recoat Details

Curing rate of this product is dependent on ambient and surface temperatures. As the temperatures increase, the curing time decreases. Refer to product data sheet for further curing information.
