Application Directions
Membrane Application
Enviro Flex 200P can be applied using brush or roller. Apply two coats of Enviro Flex 200P to achieve a minimum Dry Film Thickness (DFT) of 1.0mm. Allow each coat to dry before proceeding to next coat.
DO NOT APPLY EXTERNALLY IF RAIN IS ANTICIPATED.
Enviro Flex 200P is suitable for use over the following substrates:
• New Concrete - Cured for min. 28 days
• Renders - Cured for min. 7 days
• Particleboard - Wet area grade only
• Compressed Fibre Cement (15mm)
• Fibre Cement - Wet area grade only (min. 6mm)
• Plasterboard - Wet area grade only (min. 10mm)
NOTE: Do not apply membrane to any concrete that has received concrete curing compounds.
Substrate Preparation
The surface must be clean, dry and free from all loose particles, including dust, laitance, grease, coatings, curing compounds or any other foreign matter. Where boards are used, these are to be fixed according to manufacturers instructions and fit for purpose. Drainage and falls must be provided for. Apply suitable and approved joint sealant materials such as Enviro Seal PUR (allow to cure) before application of Enviro Flex 200P.
Priming
Apply 1 coat of Enviro Prime WB to prepared cementitious substrate at a rate of 7 – 10m² per litre, by brush or roller. Allow primer to dry, (this may take approximately 20 – 30 minutes depending upon weather and substrate conditions), before proceeding with the application of Enviro Flex 200P.
Estimating Data (Theoretical)
The consumption of Enviro Flex 200P will depend upon substrate condition and type.
As a guide: One 15 ltr unit of Enviro Flex 200P will cover approximately 10m² based on two coats achieving a waterproof coating of 1.00mm Dry Film Thickness (DFT).
Packaging
Enviro Flex 200P is supplied in 15 ltr plastic pail.
Curing
Enviro Flex 200P generally can be recoated after 4 – 6 hours depending on the weather. The membrane cannot be tiled over until the treated areas are completely cured. Enviro Flex 200P generally is totally cured in 72 hours at 20°C/50% RH. The shower should not be tiled over until Enviro Flex 200P has reached it’s full strength, generally after 3 – 5 days. Curing times will vary depending on temperature and surface conditions.
Cleaning
Enviro Flex 200P should be removed from all tools with water, prior to curing.
Shelf Life
12 months, when stored in a dry and cool environment, in original sealed containers. Once opened and resealed, use remaining product within 3 months.
Safety Advice
Enviro Flex 200P is non-toxic. However, the contents should not be swallowed or inhaled. The contents can be irritating to skin and eyes. Wear eye protection, dust masks and gloves when handling. Wash off splashes of material with clean water. If irritation continues seek medical advice. Refer to MSDS for full safety and handling procedures.
