Description
Enviro 700 PUR is a single component, polyurethane waterproofing membrane system. Enviro 700 PUR once applied on vertical or horizontal applications both internally and externally forms a seamless, durable and flexible membrane which protects structures from water penetration.
Advantages
• Flexible
• Low VOC Content
• Wet Area Membrane AS/NZS 4858:2004 Class 3 approved
• Durable
• Immersion Tolerant
• Single Pack - Easy to apply
• Seamless
• Chemically Resistant to a wide range of chemicals
Enviro 700 PUR is suitable for use on a variety of substrates including concrete, steel and other stable substrates. Enviro 700 PUR once applied produces a seamless, impervious, and durable waterproof membrane suitable for industrial, commercial and residential applications.

Application Directions
Substrate Preparation
The surface must be clean, dry and free from all loose particles including dust, laitance, grease, coatings, curing compounds and any other foreign matter. Apply suitable and approved joint caulking material such as Enviro Seal PUR (allow to cure), to all joints, corners and joins prior to application of Enviro 700 PUR.
Priming
Substrate condition and area requirements will dictate primer selection. Generally, Enviro Prime SB or a diluted coat of Enviro 700PU R (diluted 15% with Thinner No. 1 (v/v)) is used to prime dry masonry surfaces. Premium primers such as Enviro Prime P2 and Enviro
Mixing
Enviro 700 PUR should be thoroughly mixed using a mechanical mixer at low speed prior to application.
Application
Enviro 700 PUR is a 2 coat system to achieve a total DFT of 1.5mm. Can be applied using brush, roller or squeegee. All joints, cracks etc must be sealed with Enviro Seal PUR or similar polyurethane sealant and allowed to cure before applying final coat. In light traffic applications, Enviro 700PUR must have the final coat broadcast with aggregate to achieve a non slip finish. Contact Waterproofing Technologies Technical Dept for full recommendations on external long term exposed applications.
Estimating Data (Theoretical)
The consumption of Enviro 700 PUR will depend upon substrate condition and type. As a guide: One 22 kg pail of Enviro 700 PUR will cover approximately 13 - 15m² based on achieving a coating of a 1.5mm Dry Film Thickness (DFT) with a 2 coat application.
Packaging
Enviro 700 PUR is supplied in 22 kg drums.
Curing
Enviro 700 PUR generally can be recoated after overnight drying depending on the weather. Drying times will vary depending on temperature and surface conditions. Enviro 700 PUR achieves majority of its properties with 24 hours. Do not apply Enviro 700PUR if rain is anticipated.
Cleaning
Enviro 700 PUR should be removed from all tools and equipment, prior to curing with Enviro Thinners No.1. Observe all OH&S and MSDS information pertaining to safe usage and handling of solvents. Cured material can only be removed mechanically
Shelf Life
Enviro 700 PUR can be stored in its original sealed containers for 6 months in controlled environments. During storage a skin of Enviro 700 PUR may form which is easily removed. This does not affect the performance of the product. Enviro 700 PUR is sensitive to airborne moisture. It is preferable to use all contents of container after opening.
Safety Advice
When using Enviro 700 PUR always provide adequate ventilation and wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) during use. Avoid contact with skin. Avoid breathing vapours. Wear protective eyewear. If inhalation effects occur, remove to fresh air. If discomfort persists or any breathing difficulty occurs or if swallowed, seek medical attention. Refer to MSDS for full details.
